Faster News Cycles, more flexible Calendar Events
Significant updates to pages 4 and 5.
News Cycle: I found it slowed down the game too much to have some entries require another roll. It was interesting to lose a variable number of ballots on a 3 or a 4, or gain a variable number on a 12, but it just wasn't worth the complexity. I've changed those to predetermined numbers. Additionally, on a 7 (the most statistically likely roll), the outcome is set based on the numbers rolled in the initial 2d6, instead of requiring another roll.
Calendar Event: It's not uncommon to want to choose the same event repeatedly for strategic reasons, but this is pretty boring in terms of storytelling. To alleviate this, I added two alternate names for each event (while clarifying the original names on some). I also added a new event, WORK LONG HOURS, which is a zero-cost move for players who can't or don't want to spend any points. Finally, I removed the flavor text under each event, both to make room for these changes and to allow for more open-ended storytelling.
